Is it a boy thing?

I’ve just been watching the David Gilmour DVD “Remember That Night”, and as his first guitar solo speared my soul (or what passes for one) bypassing most of my higher brain functions it occurred to me that most women I have known, just don’t get guitar solos. Why is this? Perhaps if we understood why women don’t “get” guitar solos we would be a lot closer to understanding the differences between the species. Oh, and David (never call him “Dave”) is on cracking form.
