The Bonfire of the Inanities
Been on Twitter for a while – I like to put down place holders for the Ammonyte brand, you know. Hadn’t used it much until I read a report in The Daily Torygraph about celebrities accounts getting hacked. It mentioned that Will Carling was a Tweeter, and as I already subscribe to his “Facebook for Rugby Enthusiasts” site Rucku, I started to follow Will as well as high profile Tweeter Stephen Fry, who always has something apposite to say.
Some so-called celebs seem to employ their press office to update their tweets, and post the most inane vacuous twaddle masquerading as Twitter (twittertwaddle) , but Will and Stephen seem the genuine article, and usually manage to Tweet something interesting.
