Le Jardin
I was reminded by a recent post from ilegirl, that I hadn’t posted any updates on my garden recently. As mid-summer approaches there is a lull whilst the dahlias start to get their act together and fill up the spaces vacated by the spring bedding, so the beauty of the garden is focused upon looking at specific plants rather than the overall effect.
The hanging baskets and tubs are probably at their peak right now, the borders have a few gaps. I think I need a new plan for next year. I may take myself down to the RHS gardens at Wisley for some inspiration.

It hasn’t been a great summer, we have had periods of good weather interspersed with quite a few wet days. This morning is quite grey and grizzly, and if you close your eyes and sniff, you can imagine the first tang od autumn approaching.
Yay! I had almost forgotten what live plants look like!
Thanks for the update. I look forward to seeing the dahlias in their full glory.
Lol @ Ilegirl
That pond is dangerous
Beautiful photos I really like the focal depth in the shot of the bee – what Aperture was it?
PS Why do I need to add my details all the time hmph
My details are autocompleted when I leave a comment. What’s the deal?
