Garden 1.1
Well I got around to snapping the updates to the Garden that I’ve been carrying out over the past week or so.
The oriental poppies, delphiniums, Iceberg roses and foxgloves are flowering well, and the new plants I put in to cover the empty spaces are settling down, aided by a very wet couple of days at the beginning of the week.
With the smothering forget-me-nots removed, all sorts of weeds revealed themselves, so it has taken a fair amount of pottering to remove them all.

I also spent a couple of afternoons planting up hanging baskets, tubs and pots for a disabled friend, so all in all, it’s been quite a green- (well compost-brown) fingered week.
Lovely. My favorite: the ‘Patti’s Plum’ poppy, of course.
Wow! I could only dream of having such green fingers as you. When ever I walk past a plant it starts to sag and if I walk past it again it literally lies flat on the ground begging me not to come near it again!!!
I’ve added a few more pictures to the Gallery. I’m not really that green-fingered, I just plant a lot of things and hop[e the successes hide the failures!
