Reasons to be fearful, part three

It has been a bad week for freedom here in the UK. Our East German stasi influenced government insist on carrying forwards their ID card plans, against all reason (and all history of government IT systems). Then Heathrow Airport announces that all users of Terminal Five will be photographed and finger printed. They claim (yeah, right) that the photos and fingerprints will only be retained for 24 hours.

Then, the police announce a near silent drone to spy on people, the US military have figured out how to implant video cameras into insects (and control them) and a company called Phorm have created a system to spy on your internet browsing habits.

Be afraid. Be Very Afraid.
